Job Description
- Responsible for all tasks related to Visual Merchandiser in accordance with the “job description of the establishment of the store”. There is one job description for each major activity during several commercial phases in the process of setting up an IKEA store.
- Ensure commercial briefs are reflected in the results of commercial plans and implementation
- Ensure commercial planning and implementation in a timely, qualitative and consistent manner across all relevant store media
- Transfer the expertise of interior design specialists
- Use interior design competencies to strengthen IKEA’s unique identity in the store product presentation / pick-up point solution by working on store layout, product series presentation and vitality.
- Use knowledge about the needs and dreams of people in the local market to plan and implement presentation solutions that are relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial, that reflect a variety of styles, price levels and meet the tastes of many people and exceed visitors’ expectations.
- Respect routine and responsibility, work together with the Com & In team and other functions, and act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of these actions on finance.
- High-quality, simple, efficient and cost-conscious in planning and implementing all product series presentation solutions by applying national direction and using global tools, proven solutions and best practices.
Requirements
- Experienced in retail and household equipment.
- Experienced working with Visual Merchandiser in a retail environment. Able to work in a rapidly developing retail environment.
- Be knowledgeable in all guides, publications and other relevant documentation regarding visual merchandisers available in the IKEA Toolbox
- Follow the development of knowledge about IKEA equipment products.
- Having a design background, visual competence with aesthetic point of view, oriented from the customer’s point of view.
- Able to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Has a passion in the field of household appliances, retail, design and human life at home.
- Able to draw, visualize and present ideas.
- Enthusiastic in working on tasks and working together in teams.
- Thorough and detailed. Have a practical approach to work.
- Fluent in communicating in English.
- Proven experience in planning and the task of establishing a commercial store
- Adept at using computers with knowledge and experience using relevant software (for example: AutoCad).
- Willing to work on a contract-based employment.

Job Description
- Develop, implement and monitor system of store productivity analysis (people area) and conduct store HR benchmarking system.
- Conduct and monitor work load system, resource effective movement in store to achieve target and liaise with Store functional to have optimum resources.
- Create regular reporting system for HR Store.
- Assist HRBP Manager particularly in resourcing for store and backfill and Man Power Plan analysis.
- In charge for HR Store daily activity/ operation.
- Supervise HR Admin Store for all payroll & benefit monitoring system as well as HR Administration system.
- Involve in HR continuous improvement project which might liaise HR ops or other department and implement new HR system in store.
